wedding planning
+ coordination

plan your day

When planning a wedding, it's not surprising that many couples find themselves needing some help to bring their ceremony and reception vision to life.  That's why Scarlett Rose Events offers a full range of wedding planning, coordination and styling services to choose from, so that you get the support you actually need.

But what exactly is the difference between each service and which should you choose?

In a nutshell, a wedding planner manages the logistics and planning of the event,  a coordinator is responsible for executing the wedding plans on the day and ensuring everything runs smoothly, and a wedding stylist creates the aesthetic of the event.

wedding planner

Wedding planning is all about the logistics, from supplier referrals and management, to the scheduling of the day itself.  At Scarlett Rose Events we guide our clients through their entire planning process to create a fairy-tale wedding without all the stress!

The first step after you've booked our services is the Event Plan consultation meeting.  During this meeting, we will go through your vision for the day as well as discussing logistics, ideas and tips to make sure you can realistically achieve the event of your dreams.  At this point we will put together a roadmap and agree on dates that key decisions need to be made.

Next we will look at suppliers for the day including venue or marquees hire, catering, entertainment, flowers, furniture and décor items, Finding suppliers who you trust and can work well with is essential to a successful event.  We can recommend trusted suppliers, and once you have chosen who you would like at your event, we will take over the administration, logistics and planning by working directly with them on your behalf.  Throughout the planning process, we will liaise with suppliers regarding timings and requirements.  Ahead of the wedding day, a final timeline will be distributed to you and all suppliers to ensure everything runs smoothly on event day.

With Scarlett Rose Events as your wedding planner, we offer unlimited phone and email support in the lead up to your wedding.  We will catch up regularly to ensure that the event planning is on track and will also discuss budgeting / invoicing as required.  From sourcing niche décor items or services, to guest RSVP management and everything in between, we can work with you on a list of service requirements that you feel you’d like in order to truly make the most out of our planning services.

wedding coordinator

A wedding coordinator is logistically focused but on a shorter timeline than a planner.   Most wedding venues will have their own on-site coordinator, so our coordination services are best suited to weddings at private residences or for marquee weddings.  At Scarlett Rose Events we take over an your supplier liaison a month before the wedding and function as the point-person on the wedding day. We will confirm your supplier services and create a wedding day timeline, as well as making sure everything runs like clockwork on the day.  Once the formalities of the event have been completed (usually around the time of the main meal/speeches) your coordinator can either leave you and your guests to party or, if you prefer, stay until the very end of the event to assist with guest departure.

Usually couples will book our coordination services when it becomes clear that the planning and execution of a wedding is a lot more complicated than they had initially thought!  We like to invite our couples for an event consultation where we cover all the event details from setup to pack down, as well as finalising your itinerary for the day(s) of the event.  Although our official duties don't kick in until a month before, we're always at the other end of the phone or email to give advice, make suggestions or simply to offer some extra support along the way.

wedding stylist

Hand in hand with event planning is event design and styling.  Whilst event planning provides the logistical framework, the design element brings a creative vision to life.  At Scarlett Rose Events, our event styling focuses on décor, style and aesthetics. Taking inspiration from your ideas,  we will work with you to design a stunning and bespoke event..

When designing your event we will strike the perfect balance within the space, considering the guest flow and experience.  In the design process, we will discuss lighting, furnishings, colour and décor items which will elevate your event to give the ultimate WOW factor! On the day itself, we will be there to make sure all of the décor is in place and that the space is finished just the way we planned it. And the following day we will be there to pack everything away.

Scarlett Rose Events has a range of décor items for hire, but we can also source additional décor / equipment especially for your day, as well as setting up any of your own styling items.
