Scarlett Rose Events are thrilled to have been announced as one of three finalists in the Start Up of The Year category (sponsored by Teapot Creative) for the 2023 Somerset Business Awards.
This is the 18th year of the awards, which are run annually by the Somerset Chamber of Commerce. The Start Up of the Year award honours new businesses which were set up and began trading from April 1, 2021 - which is also the date Scarlett Rose Events launched! Bursting onto the scene following the traumatic blow COVID brought to the wedding and events industry could have been perceived as a risky move, however I saw potential for events to blossom in a new era. With years of experience in the wedding industry in coastal Australia, I seized the opportunity to bring a fresh perspective to the event scene of rural Somerset, embracing the beautiful scenery to create unique celebrations.
We may be a small business, but have big goals and a clear mindset about how to achieve them. We have an innovative product with our unique spin on the humble picnic and we absolutely love each and every single one of our amazing clients!
The Grand Final will be hosted by BBC Somerset presenter and journalist Claire Carter at the Winter Gardens Pavilion in Weston-Super-Mare on March 24th, 2023. We are so excited to meet all of the other finalists and to celebrate Somerset's incredible achievements in business.
