When the producers of ITVBe's hit show The Only Way is Essex decided on a stay-cation in Dorset to film the first episode of their new season (29), Scarlett Rose Events jumped at the opportunity to style for the show. Referred by Kids Party Finder, we had an absolute blast working on location - the cast and crew were great and it was so much fun seeing how the show came together behind the scenes.
The show featured various scenes around Dorset, and Scarlett Rose Events was privileged to style at two separate locations. The first was Dalkeith Lodge in Poole. We styled two separate scenes at this gorgeous property. The sun deck and hot-tub area were dressed with rugs, plants, cushions and furniture and set the scene perfectly for Chloe Sims and her sisters Demi and Frankie (and later joined by Diags.) who had drinks and a gossip in the afternoon sunshine.
The next couple of scenes (also filmed at Dalkieth Lodge) were set at a boho-chic TOWIE house party. Scarlett Rose Events transformed the deck and garden to create the chilled out event complete with fire pits and plenty of candles. We had the pleasure of working along side Black Cat Catering who created the most delicious grazing boards. Special mention to Sugar Rush Events who supplied the daybed for the evening. The girls (plus Diags) were joined by the rest of the cast including Amy Childs, Saffron Lempriere and Roman Hackett as they partied through the night.
On the second day of filming, we joined the cast and crew on the stunning Sandbanks Beach for the ultimate event of the show - the TOWIE beach party. We designed and staged multiple areas for filming, and the cast made the most of the event with plenty of delicious food (again by Black Cat Catering and also Rick Stein's Sandbanks Restaurant ) and drinks. Backdrop and balloons supplied by Sugar Rush Events who were an absolute pleasure to work along side!
We absolutely loved the experience of joining the TOWIE team and enjoyed the challenge of styling for tv at these fabulous locations. All of the styling options featured on the show are now available for hire from Scarlett Rose Events.
