I was delighted to see Scarlett Rose Events featured in the Daily Mail with our styling work showcased on The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE).

Being featured in a nationally recognised television programme is always exciting, but more importantly, it highlights the level of styling, attention to detail, and creative execution that goes into every event I work on — whether on screen or behind the scenes.

A relaxed, beachside gathering styled with low tables, soft cushions, and pastel details, creating an effortless setting for a laid-back celebration by the sea.
The cast from Towie relax beachside with a beautifully styled picnic.
Beachside low dining table styled with wooden tables, pastel napkins, tableware, floral arrangements, and guests seated on cushions enjoying food and drinks on the sand.
Lovers quarrel whilst the boys watch on in amusement - the TOWIE cast had a great time relaxing by the sea.

Behind the Scenes of a Styled Television Feature

Working on a televised feature brings a unique set of challenges. Styling needs to be visually impactful, camera-ready from every angle, and delivered within tight timeframes — all while remaining cohesive and intentional.

The styling for this feature focused on:

  • creating visual impact on screen

  • thoughtful use of colour and texture

  • styling that felt polished but natural

  • ensuring every detail worked within the wider setting

These are the same principles I apply to wedding and event styling — just translated into a different environment.

the Benefits of a Wedding Stylist with Work Featured in Often the Press (Not Just Towie!)

Press features aren’t just exciting milestones; they’re a reflection of trust, experience, and professionalism.

They demonstrate:

  • confidence working at a high level

  • the ability to deliver under pressure

  • experience styling for different formats and audiences

  • an eye for detail that translates across settings

Whether styling for a wedding day or a media feature, the approach remains the same: considered design, calm execution, and beautifully balanced results. In addition to our work on TOWIE, Scarlett Rose Events is often featured in the press as a wedding planner and stylist.

Styling with Intention

While television features are fast-paced, the styling process always begins in the same place — understanding the brief, the environment, and the desired feel.

This focus on intention ensures the final result feels elevated rather than overworked, and impactful without feeling forced.

Being featured on TOWIE was a wonderful experience and a proud moment for Scarlett Rose Events. It’s a reminder that thoughtful styling, attention to detail, and professional execution translate far beyond weddings alone.
